This newly revised and expanded edition of The Divine Liturgy includes magnificent settings for the hierarchical service. The inspiring musical settings (SATB) in this volume include several selections for all hymns of the Eucharistic service representing the numerous beautiful Orthodox musical traditions (Russian, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, Serbian, and Antiochian). Traditional chants newly set and arranged, settings of major Russian composers adapted for English usage, and new compositions by Orthodox American composers comprise these selections. This fine hardback book also includes musical settings in Common, Slavo-Greek, Carpatho-Russian, and Byzantine chant for the Resurrection troparia in the eight tones and four sets of Resurrectional Prokeimena in Common, Znamenny, Serbian, and Byzantine chant. The English text is from the Divine Liturgy of Orthodox Church in America.

I love the green book!
The revised addition came out while I was a student at St. Vladimir's Seminary. While I love many new hymns out there, I LOVE so many of the beautifully set pieces in this all in one book. I love how it honors the composers, yet always keeping the text of the service front and center. Thank you, SVS!
