This beautiful hardcover volume is an anthology of commentaries and meditations by the Church Fathers relating to the Psalms and scriptural odes. It features extracts form Orthodox Christian festal and Lenten services, which have been included as hands-on learning aides, as well as Old Testament passages from the Book of Kings. The translation of the Psalter is The Psalter According to the Seventy, a Septuagint version translated by Holy Transfiguration Monastery.

Great Commentary with the Bible and the Holy Fathers
It’s blue now! Lovely book with commentaries and collections form the fathers laid in line with an HTM translation of the Psalms. Very flexible binding with a blue cloth overboard cover made in USA. The binding doesn’t look sewn but it lays relatively flat toward the middle of the book
In addition to the psalms it has an intro nine odes themes concordance, sources, liturgical concordance, subjects index and index of scriptural texts.
