The Choice of Orthodoxy addresses the crucial question of which Church truly embodies the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church of the Nicene Creed. Both Rome and the Orthodox Church lay claim to this identity, and Fr. Daniel Daly provides a clear, thoughtful framework to help readers navigate this significant question.
Designed for seekers of truth and those searching for a spiritual home, this book offers straightforward guidance and an accessible comparison of the two traditions. Fr. Daly presents a compelling case for Orthodoxy, drawing from history, theology, and the lived experience of the Church to highlight its authenticity and faithfulness to Christ’s founding vision.
Whether you are exploring Orthodoxy for the first time or seeking clarity in your spiritual journey, The Choice of Orthodoxy offers valuable insights to help you discern the truth and make an informed choice.

The Choice of Orthodoxy
The author is a former Catholic priest who has converted to Orthodoxy. His path was the same as mine. He was upset with the changes that occurred after Vatican II. That caused a period of "unsettlement" which eventually caused him to leave Catholicism and enter Orthodoxy. His reasoning was the same as mine and I felt he was talking about my experience rather than his. Great read.
