This manual is not an abridgement. It contains a complete, traditional "rule," or service of preparation for Communion, including Psalms and a rich anthology of eucharistic prayers from the fathers of the Church down the ages. In addition, it contains an akathist of preparation and prayers of thanksgiving to be used following Communion.
