Obedience — and especially the obedience found in the monastic life — reveals to us the way (and the content) of intimate union with Christ, and it is for this reason that we do not fulfill obedience to Christ, but as Christ. And He, the Son of God, teaches us that obedience is what we gather from the Father's love.
Archimandrite Hrisostom Ciuciu is a member of Putna Monastery's monastic community since 1996, and for several years he has been an assistant professor at Dumitru Stăniloae Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Iași, teaching in the Department of Biblical Studies. He received his doctorate in New Testament theology in 2017, with the doctoral thesi entitled "The Obedeince of the Son to the Father in Philippians 2.5-11: Its Relevance to the Spiritual Life"

Obedience by Hrisostom Ciuciu
I found this book to be very helpful and powerful teaching. Definitely need “Ears to Hear”. This “Obedience” is not aimed at a overly pious sense of “worship”, but is a means of understanding the
necessity obedience plays in our willingness to live the will of God rather than our own. -
