This expanded volume summarizes the primary personalities, controversies, and events of the Christian era through a synopsis of each century, beginning from the birth of the Church through the early 21st century.
The other three volumes in the series deal with doctrine and Scripture, worship and spirituality.
About the Author: Protopresbyter Thomas Hopko (1939–2015) was professor of dogmatic theology and served as dean of St Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary. Alongside his numerous books and articles, Fr Thomas was also renowned as a gifted speaker and homilist.
